20180421-Barred Owl - 1

On 4/21, a woman was walking her dog at Woodbridge apartments, and she saw a barred owl on the ground.  She called Animal Care and Control, and officer Kyle came and picked it up.  She had an egg to the side of her.  The officer called Soarin' Hawk, and a volunteer picked up the owl and the egg and transported them to the ICU.  On initial assessment, the volunteer on call could not find anything wrong with her.  Her keel was a three and a half, so she was healthy.  Upon further examination by another volunteer at the ICU, she seemed to be having some difficulty standing on one leg.  Radiographs were taken.
