*RELEASE* 20250622-Turkey Vulture-1

On Sept. 20, 2025, at approximately 4:30 pm, Release Team volunteers Sharon Partridge and Brian Grubb released a turkey vulture at Metea County Park. This is the TV known as Toe Vulture since he lost a toe in a leg-hold trap back in July of this year. There was no audience for the release because the caller was out of town. A video was taken and will be sent to SH and the caller.

6/22/2025 - A Turkey Vulture was caught in a fox trap; it was removed and transported to the SHRR ICU for treatment and observation.
