20260123-Eastern Screech Owl-1

I released an eastern screech owl today (February 10, 2026) in Bluffton with assistance from Ross. This particular owl was found by the mail lady in a mailbox. Nothing was wrong with him, and he stayed in our care until after the snowstorm.

I chose to release at a nearby golf course so the little guy wouldn't be mistaken for mail. He flew right out of the box! No audience was present.
