On May 5, 2024, 4:30pm, SH Volunteers Sharon Partridge, Brian Grubb, and Jason Gase released the redtail hawk that was admitted to the clinic on March 5, 2024 with a broken clavicle. 

The hawk was released where it was found, just north of Roanoke, IN. In addition to the SH volunteers, there were 3 adults and 5 children present. 

The hawk exited the carrier and sat on the ground in front of the carrier for several minutes before taking flight!
