20230902-Red-Tailed Hawk-1

09/02/2023  Today Deputy Yoder was dispatched to a hawk in the road, 1800 CR 35, Waterloo. When he arrived Dekalb county dispatch called Lana. The Red Tailed Hawk appeared to have been hit by a vehicle. It had numerous abrasions and scrapes. A keel of 3 was noted. I transported the bird to Soarin’ Hawk for triage. -Rescuer Louie Lee
