20170529-Eastern Screech Owl - 1

Initial exam: This adult eastern screech owl was alert but subdued.  No injuries were found on initial exam.  He was extremely thin.  Radiographs will be taken tomorrow. 05/30/2017 Radiographs did not reveal any fractures. He is lethargic and emaciated and we still not not know the reason for his condition. He is being tube fed and given subcutaneous fluids. His prognosis at this time is unknown.
