Volunteer Spotlight

Kim examining the wing of a rehab great horned owl.

When asked why she likes to volunteer at Soarin' Hawk: “Why do I volunteer?… I love to be taloned… hahaha. Seriously though, I love working with the birds and it is always a joy and a privilege. From rescueing the birds to rehabbing and ultimately releasing them back into the wild; it is a very satisfying feeling to know you’ve helped them. I feel fortunate to be able to play my part in the conservation of raptors in Indiana."
