Cause of Admission:
Fractured radius and ulna.

Zeus was rescued in August, 2014. The medical exam and x-rays revealed that he had a fractured radius and ulna. Unfortunately, the fracture was so close to the joint that surgery could not be performed.  The break was splinted, but unfortunately it did not heal well enough for him to regain excellent flight.  We are delighted to have added Zeus to our Education Program.

Zeus and Apollo are close friends.  Where one is perched, the other is typically very close by!

How You Can Help

It's important to rescue, rehab, and share these birds with the community, and we thank our donors and volunteers for making it possible.
