UPDATE: Although Soarin' Hawk is based in Allen County, Indiana, we rescue birds from over 15 counties in Northeast Indiana and also from Ohio and Michigan. We always appreciate volunteers from every one of these areas to rescue injured and orphaned raptors for us. Conservation officer Guido Tins from Miami County and Shirley Needham (make sure you have her in the video at least at this point), a volunteer from Rochester, Indiana were both instrumental in getting this owl to us. Be sure to check out the video ! Jan 12, 2016 The owl had been hit by a car, had some vision issues, which are now resolved. After several weeks of rest and rehabilitation, the owl was exercised on a creance line to build up his strength and stamina and was deemed ready for release.

How You Can Help

It's important to rescue, rehab, and share these birds with the community, and we thank our donors and volunteers for making it possible.
