UPDATE: 08/09/2020 After observation to ensure there was no damage to its wing, we did a number of test flights which it passed with flying colors. The decision was made to release this bird as it appeared to have no injuries
Our rescue line received a call about an owl stuck in a soccer net at Oakview elementary school. Our volunteer picked up this bird and took it to our treatment facility for evaluation. Luckily there were no apparent injuries. We will evaluate its flight and if everything is appropriate it will be released back around where it was found
