UPDATE: 08/05/2020 This young owl was released at Bicentennial Park in Huntertown , IN with 3 other orphans

Went on a call to pick up a baby, and I do mean baby Screech Owl in Monroeville. Callers found him on the ground, near a large tree and right near a major highway. Extremely nice folks to talk with. We reviewed the area and could not determine where exactly the nest was and thought it better to bring him back for evaluation. They were given our brochures and told how to look him up on our website.

He/she was brought back to ICU for evaluation. As always we hope and pray our raptors make it back to the wild. Prayers for you little guy.

06/07/2020 This a healthy Eastern Screech Owl owlet. We will monitor it to make sure it can eat on its own . Then we will move it to our rehabilitation facility to be with other Eastern Screech Owls. When it is mature enough it will be released

06/14/2020 This owl is not eating on its own as well as we would like . We will keep it in our treatment facility for a little while longer

06/29/2020 We have moved this orphaned owl to our rehabilitation facility with the other orphaned screech owls
