UPDATE:

Got a call from Fort Wayne Metals on 6-3-16, baby kestrel found in their parking lot under a company truck that sits in parking lot.  Upon arrival baby kestrel was underneath the truck on top of a tire.  The kestrel flew to other spots and to a fence.  The female kestrel was in good condition, keel 4, no problems noted, just needs more practice flying and hunting.  Walked around area with kestrel looking for mother.  Baby called for mom but there was no sight or sound from mom.                                Truck and parking lot are to the right of kestrel in this picture.

She is doing great and enjoying her time in a flight pen with other orphaned kestrels.  She will be released late summer with the other orphaned kestrels.

How You Can Help

It's important to rescue, rehab, and share these birds with the community, and we thank our donors and volunteers for making it possible.
