UPDATE: 07/18/2020 We released 6 of our orphaned American Kestrels today

Soarin Hawk received a call from a family in Wabash. A young Kestral was hopping around their yard then came up to the porch and just stayed there. They could not find a nest. Joe F went to pick it up. The callers had the bird already boxed for transport.

Initial examination did not find any injuries.

06/06/2020 This kestrel orphan is eating well on its own so it has been moved to our rehabilitation facility until it is old enough to be released

How You Can Help

It's important to rescue, rehab, and share these birds with the community, and we thank our donors and volunteers for making it possible.
