05262016-ESOW. Another orphaned Eastern Screech Owl!  If parents or a nest are not found within several hours or the bird is in immediate danger, such as being close to a road, the immature bird should be rescued.  Often people are too eager to help out the little ones when in fact their parents are close by.  This little guy ate immediately and is enjoying a flight pen with other orphaned screech owls.

How You Can Help

It's important to rescue, rehab, and share these birds with the community, and we thank our donors and volunteers for making it possible.
