UPDATE: 08 Oct This Eastern Screech Owl was release this week back into the wild. Earlier this year, we rescued a large number of screech owls, and over the summer, they were cared for and developed the skills and strength to be successful in the wild. Live Long !

Thanks Tom Sawyer for your persistence in finding Soarin' Hawk!  This little immature Eastern Screech Owl was found stranded on a pier for several hours.  After having no evidence that the mom was still around, Tom made several phone calls before he found us.  Upon exam the little guy is just a little thin but in great shape otherwise.  Luckily we have two others about the same age that he can finish growing up with!

4June
05252016-ESOW-1. This little guy has gained weight and is doing great! He has now joined the other orphaned screech owls in a flight pen.  Nothing cuter than an immature screech owl!

How You Can Help

It's important to rescue, rehab, and share these birds with the community, and we thank our donors and volunteers for making it possible.
