UPDATE: 20July This little guy was extremely lucky as many that get hit by a car are never released. This little guy recovered fully and was able to go back to the wild!

This Eastern Screech Owl was found with the very common injury of being hit by a vehicle.  He had trauma on one side of his body, but fortunately nothing life threatening.  He will be given pain medicine and plenty of food and quiet to recover.
