Update 05242016
Quick update doing great and moved to the bigger pens today. Eating on his own and very active

On 5/17/2016 Lana and I were sent to an owl rescue in Fremont, IN. Upon our arrival the caller showed us an Eastern Screech Owlet about six feet up on a small tree. She told us the day before, there had been two owlets and an adult. When she checked today she found a neighborhood dog had this bird in it's mouth. The caller was able to place the owlet in the tree, but not out of the dogs reach. The owlet did not appear to be injured and a check of it's keel revealed it had been eating. The owlet was taken to a volunteers home until it is able to be safely released.‚Äč
