UPDATE: 03/06/21This young Coopers Hawk was released at Headwaters Park today
Animal Care and Control in Fort Wayne received a call about this Coopers Hawk. It had flown into a window. Animal Care and Control picked this juvenile Coopers Hawk up and brought to Soarin' Hawks treatment facility. We were unable to find any injuries on this Hawk except for a bruise on it chest. We kept it in the treatment facilty under observation
02/28/2021 We did not find any obvious injuries on this young Coopers Hawk. We have moved it to a rehabilitation pen. We will observe it for a few more days to ensure it can fly well and no injuries or issues develop. Hopefully we will be able to release it soon
