This grey phase eastern screech owl was found at a home residence in Kendallville, IN, by Dave and Tracy.  The little owl was found hopping in the road with its left wing extended.  It was picked up by volunteer Bob and transported to our vet tech Kat at the Huntertown ICU to await further treatment.

The gray phase eastern screech wl found on 800N in Kendallville, IN was released on 02/06/2018 at 8:00 p.m. after a short rehabilitation being treated for dehydration and turbulent shock from a near miss with an automobile.

It was released only a few feet from where it was originally found. After a short time acclimating to its home surroundings, it silently lifted off into a nearby tree stand in the darkness.
